John and Rebecca Ronan

John and Rebecca Ronan

John Ronan is married to Rebecca, they have one daughter and two grown up grandchildren. They have been married for over 40 years and live in the lovely Vale of Belvoir. They are both qualified EBU Directors and have been playing bridge for over 25 years, playing competitive bridge in Leicestershire, where, when time permits, Rebecca plays for the County and is currently captain of their local bridge team. John also runs occasional teaching workshops for the improvers section of their local club.

John retired from a much enjoyed long career as a Chartered Bio-medical scientist working for the NHS. Since retirement he’s taken up golf again with great enthusiasm and is also a member of the Lions Club International. Over the last 35 years he has organised many events and helped raise funds for local and international charities, this along with their allotment takes up any spare time.
